The LED candle is designed to replace existing incandescent and halogen lamps. Chosen for its attractive shape, the candle is often seen in fixtures where the lamp is visible – chandeliers, pendants, table lamps and open luminaires. Additionally, it’s compact size makes it ideal for luminaires with tight spaces where a stand sized globe may not fit. Operating on mains voltage, it is simple to benefit from the many advantages of LED lighting, include:

• Long life of 20,000 to 40,000 hours (compared to 2,000 hours for Halogen options)
• Low operating temperature
• Energy savings of up to 90%
• Range of colour temperatures to best match the environment

A warm white colour temperature imitates the glow of an incandescent lamp, where as cool white or daylight can be chosen for a crisp, brighter environment. While dimmable options are available, they must be matched with a compatible dimmer switch.
